The Non-O marriage visa is a 1-year renewable visa for the spouse of a Thai citizen, including same-sex spouses since January 2025. It needs a registered Thai marriage plus a financial test.

Who it's for
Foreign spouses of a Thai citizen who can show ฿400,000 in a Thai bank (seasoned ~2 months) or income of at least ฿40,000/mo, and hold the Thai marriage registration.
Requirements
- Either ฿400,000 in a Thai bank (seasoned ~2 months) OR income of at least ฿40,000/mo.
- Marriage must be registered in Thailand: the Thai marriage certificate (Kor Ror 3).
- A marriage registered abroad also needs Kor Ror 22 family-status registration at a district office.
